This resort lies on a 35-acre circular island in the widely undiscovered northern Atoll of Haa Alifu, approximately 500 km north of Male. Transfers to the island are by domestic airline to Hanimaadhoo Airfield (around 45 minutes) and then a 15-minute journey by speedboat.

Built in 2007, this beach resort comprises 98 beautifully designed guest villas and a sumptuous array of dining experiences and is the epitomy of personalised service. It is a secluded hideaway washed by the waters of a crystal-clear turquoise lagoon and accommodation is in bungalows built in harmony with their stunning natural setting. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area, a bar, a restaurant, conference facilities and room and laundry services.

Rooms
All rooms are set in villas facing the sea or in the waters of the ocean. They have been especially designed to blend harmoniously into their surroundings. The Beach Villas offer panoramic views of the ocean. Their tasteful interiors feature strong colours, exquisite timber floors and traditional Maldivian thatched roofs. The Duplex Beach Villas are right on the sea front. High ceilings covered with Maldivian thatched roofs allow a smooth flow of cooling sea breezes. The Ocean Villas are spacious and luxurious and built completely over the sea. All rooms come with a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and a minibar. They are also equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set, individually adjustable air conditioning and a safe. All accommodation features a private terrace.

Restaurant & Food
From coastal treats to ambrosial cocktails, the restaurant has an extensive list of culinary delights ingeniously prepared by the Master Chef and his team. The menu even caters to the health-conscious by offering nutritious meals and low-calorie snacks. If clients prefer a lighter meal, they can order from a wide selection of salads, sandwiches and of course tempting desserts.

Activities & Sport
Overlooking the magnificent ocean, the uniquely designed swimming pool area features the Waves restaurant and the Bliss Bar. Guests may also relax with a spa or massage treatment or enjoy a game of tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball or badminton.

Directions, How to get there
Gueats can take a 50-minute picturesque Island Aviation domestic flight from Malé, due north, to the airfield of Hanimaadhoo. The hotel is then just a 15-minute speedboat ride away.
