Currently undergoing extensive renovation and re-design work, Selandia will re-open in April 2012 as a modern, trendy 3* hotel in an excellent location.
Exterior: It is a traditional red brick building with uniformed rectangular and arched windows and very typical of Copenhagen.
Lobby: The reception area is deceptively spacious as the lobby and breakfast dining area is open planned. There is a black marbled check-in desk which greets guests on arrival while to the right is a small area of soft seating and a large plasma screen tv which is used to screen large sporting events. An Internet point is also available.

The standard rooms are newly renovated and offer a very cosy and warm environment. All rooms are small to medium in size and are carpeted and designed with thick and bold textiles, but the light-coloured walls tone down the rooms. Included in the rooms are trouser presses and [appears to be a word mising here]in some refrigerators. Bathrooms are compact but in good condition.

The hotel serves breakfast only, in a room adjoining the lobby. It is a large, open planned room with classic white tables and chairs throughout, and nature-influenced colours helping create a cosy and relaxing space.
