Deskripsi

This deluxe 447 room hotel has recently completed a £76 million refurbishment to reinvigorate it as one of London's finest hotels and to position it as a global flagship for InterContinental. The hotel now boasts elegant new guest rooms and spectacular suites, including the split level loft style London Suite and a stunning Club InterContinental lounge. There are also two exciting new restaurants, Theo Randall at The InterContinental featuring Theo Randall, the former head chef of Michelin star River Café and the Cookbook Cafe, where our chef's showcase their passion for cooking in an informal setting. A 300 square metres, chic urban spa is run in partnership with Elemis. The warm contemporary event space has a magnificent ballroom for up to 750 guests and 12 meeting rooms all with wonderful views of The Royal Parks.

Rooms

After the completion of a two-year refurbishment and an astonishing f75M spent on the renovation, the hotel's guest rooms have been stylishly revamped using rich fabrics, traditional colours and elegant wooden furniture to create a timeless, classic feel. The walls are decorated with specially commissioned artworks depicting parts of London to evoke a sense of place. Some of the rooms have views of London's Royal Parks.

Restaurant & Food

"Theo Randall" at the InterContinental brings a ray of River Cafe'-style sunshine to the plusher, more corporate surroundings of Mayfair. Serving his own unique interpretation of regional Italian cuisine, Theo sources the freshest ingredients from specialist suppliers in the United Kingdom and Italy. The hotel also features a second new restaurant, the "Cookbook Cafe", which is a hive of creative cooking where London's brightest young chefs showcase their inventive dishes. It will also host a variety of wine demonstrations and cookbook launches.
