This brand-new, elegant resort covers some 2,030 m² and has been
decorated in a splendid Italian palace style. There are a total of
584 rooms available to guests, spread over 15 floors and facilities
include a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency
exchange facility and a lift in addition to a newspaper stand, a
hairdressing salon, a bar, 6 restaurants offering normal to upscale
dining, conference facilities, Internet access and a wireless
access point. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground,
and room and laundry services round off the offerings. Charges
apply for use of the hotel car park.
Rooms
Rooms feature 1 king-size or 2 double beds (bed type is on a
request basis) and have a size of approximately 43 m2. Deluxe
garden view rooms overlook Grand Lakes estate and the city skyline.
Each of the rooms features a shower, separate marble bathtub and
double vanity. They have a private five-foot walk-out balcony and
are equipped with a 37-inch high definition LCD flat-screen TV
(with interface connecting TV to other media devices), high-speed
Internet access, multi lines with voice mail, an iPod docking
station, safes with laptop compatibility, a fully stocked
refreshment cabinet, plush bathrobes, a coffee maker, iron and
ironing board, hairdryer and bottled water. The rooms are refreshed
daily with the turndown service. In-room Internet/telephone
packages are available at an additional charge.
Restaurant & Food
Children 12 and under may dine free of charge. For each adult
entree purchased, one child 12 years of age and under may receive
one free meal from the children's menu at the following outlets:
Citron An American Brasserie, Quench Bar and Grill, Fairways Pub,
Bleu Bar and Food and The Vineyard Grill. Excluded are Primo's,
Norman's, Starbucks, Vitale and Peet's Coffee Cart.
Activities & Sport
There is a luxurious pool area with a poolside snack bar to make
use of in the outdoor complex. Further leisure offerings include a
hot tub, a sauna, steam baths, a massage service and a luxurious
health and treatment spa. Guests may enjoy a work-out in the
in-house gym and sports enthusiasts are able to play tennis, or to
pay a visit to the nearby 18-hole golf course.
Comments
A parking fee of 20 USD (plus tax) applies per day. Self parking is
not available. The hotel provides complimentary transportation to
Universal and Sea World. This can be arranged through the
reception.
Directions, How to get
there
From the Orlando International Airport: Follow North Exit signs out
of the airport. Take 528 West (Beachline) and exit 3 (John Young
Parkway South/423) off 528 (Beachline). At the bottom of the exit,
turn left onto John Young Parkway. Turn right onto Central Florida
Parkway (2nd traffic light). The entrance to the resort will be on
the left.
