Exterior: The hotel's period facade is of grey stone, with elegant columns flanking the entrance, a typical example of the grand architecture that can be found in this part of London.
Lobby: The lobby is of medium size and classically decorated using traditional colours and wood furniture. There is a large wooden desk to the left of the reception, and a comfortable sitting area to the right, with a glass lift in the centre.

The rooms are medium on average and in good condition, as are the bathrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned. Pastel walls, traditional burgundy, blues and English greens and wooden furniture have been used to create a classic, traditional decor. All rooms feature remote controlled colour television with free in-house movies, satellite channels and radio, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, dial-up internet & T-Mobile Hotspot wireless LAN, hair dryer and personal safe, are well lit and surprisingly quiet for such a central location.

The restaurant is on the ground floor, it is decorated in peach, and is a pleasantly light and airy room, partly due to the attractive and unusual skylight. Also on the ground floor is an American style bistro and bar.
