ageless rhythm, African Pride The Burning Shore Country House rises
above the wilderness in an oasis of calm, like a soothing balm upon
the scorched earth. It is here, on the edge of one of the world's
largest sand dunes, that visitors pay homage to the stark beauty of
the Namib and the mighty expanse of the Atlantic.

The hotel offers 4 Standard Rooms, 3 Luxury Rooms, 4 Superior Rooms
and 1 Suite overlooking the beach. All rooms are en suite with a
shower, bath and hairdryer. Facilities include a double or
king-size bed, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet
access, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, electronic safe
and a writing desk. Individually regulated air conditioning and a
balcony or terrace feature as standard.
Restaurant & Food
The 60-seater in-house restaurant serves exquisite, mouth-watering
à la carte meals and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Alternatively, guests can head to the deck for alfresco dining,
with direct access to beach. The cocktail bar serves a great
selection of guests' favourite drinks.

Directions, How to get
there
Take the C14 to Walvis Bay and follow signs to Swakopmund. After 15
km, turn left at Longbeach. Then, follow the signs for the hotel to
4th Street.
