We are right in the middle of Mt Cook Village! Our lodge has 16 rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. All front facing rooms have fantastic mountain views, including Aoraki/Mt Cook. The building has been finished to a very high standard, utilising lots of native timber, with large windows to enjoy the scenery. Our lounge area is the best place in Mount Cook to put your feet up and enjoy the mountains and glaciers. The views from this room are unbeatable and it has a cosy fire and lots of comfy couches to relax in along with a large deck on which to enjoy the sun. The lodge has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and dining area, and a communal lounge with sun deck. (Please note, there is no supermarket in Mt Cook so you will need to bring groceries with you.) We offer 5GB free WiFi per room. We have free DVDs for viewing, guest laundry and a small grocery outlet with reasonably priced breakfast foods, basic dinner items, postcards etc. We provide free baggage storage. We are a 2 minute walk from the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre featuring the 3D Aoraki/Mount Cook Traveller Movie and Planetarium and directly across the road from the Aoraki/Mount Cook Visitor Centre featuring a stunning array of interpretative displays and outdoor alpine garden area complete with a mountain hut. We are family owned and operated and will do our very best to make your stay here an enjoyable experience. We offer friendly personalised service that is sometimes difficult to find in big hotels.
