This hotel is situated at the heart of Amsterdam, directly next to the famous dam. The hotel is also located close to the stock exchange and the Bijenkorf department store. Also in the neighbourhood, guests will find the world-famous waxworks at Madame Tussaud's and the Royal Palace. Further tourist attractions such as the Kalverstraat are only steps away. Centraal main railway station lies only 700 metres away and the tram is even closer to the hotel. Schiphol airport is easily reached by train or taxi within 20 minutes.

Description

This hotel is excellently located and has benefited from its much needed renovation to become a hotel worthy of its first rate classification. Ideal for all markets.
Exterior: The hotel is located above its famous pavement cafe on a busy street. The exterior is a 1900 building.
Lobby: The lobby is actually very small as the majority of the ground floor space is taken up by the cafe.

Rooms

The bedrooms all vary in size due to the age of the building but they have all been renovated and are now in very good condition. The colour scheme is predominantly rust with cherrywood furniture and all rooms have air conditioning, LCD televisions and high speed internet. The bathrooms are also in good condition, and some have been renovated with the remainder due to be renovated over the course of the year. The renovated bathrooms are very modern with dark wooden flooring, with silver and pristine white finishing on the walls and in the showers.

Restaurant & Food

Located on the ground floor, the restaurant overlooks the busy street where one can watch the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. It serves a traditional Dutch menu and is traditional in style. There is also a brasserie which serves light snacks all day
