The hotel is located on the banks of the river Nile, in the historical quarter of the Garden City, which is dotted with colonial villas, and splendid palaces and gardens, neighbouring the embassy quarter and close to the business areas of Maadi and Mohandseen, offering premium safety and security. It is also a short and pleasant walk away from the Egyptian Museum and the Cairo Opera House. The closest bus station and metro stop is roughly 1 km away and the train station is about 3 km away. Cairo International Airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

This luxury hotel has a total of 191 beautifully furnished rooms and suites and was renovated in 2010. The premises are air-conditioned and guests are welcomed in a lobby with a 24-hour reception service. Facilities include a hotel safe, currency exchange and lift access to the upper floors.
