Renovated in 2007, this hotel comprises 333 rooms, of which 100 are
double rooms, 9 are junior suites, 134 are suites and 8 are villas.
Facilities include a reception area, a hotel safe, currency
exchange facilities, lift access, shops and a games room. The hotel
features 7 restaurants and bars, a conference room, Internet
access, room and laundry services (fees apply) and a shoe polishing
service. Furthermore, there is a children's playground, a kids'
house and babysitting service, a hotel clinic with a nurse, a tour
desk and car rental service, a car park and a beauty salon.
Rooms
The resort's villas range from 45 m² to 600 m² in size. All super
deluxe rooms are decorated with a stylish wooden finish.
Single/twin rooms are 45 m², whilst triple rooms are 55 m² in size.
Ocean suites are 70 m². Luxury suites are decorated with extra
wooden elements and include a laptop and a colour printer, as well
as a separated dressing area and a Jacuzzi. All rooms are en suite
and include a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a
radio, a minibar, a mini-fridge, a room safe, a balcony/terrace and
individually regulated air conditioning units as standard.
Restaurant & Food
Culinary highlights are provided in the resort's 7 restaurants: the
Ocean View coffee shop, Kiko Japanese restaurant, Palmyra Grill
room, Thai Orchid restaurant, Franco Roma Italian restaurant,
Diamond Hut Chinese seafood restaurant, and the Korean Hut (BBQ).
There are also 2 bars: The sea bar and pool bar.
Activities & Sport
The resort includes 3 large free-form outdoor swimming pools with
fountains, waterfalls, and Jacuzzis. Guests relaxing by the pool
can make use of the poolside snack bar. A summer activity programme
is provided by the hotel, whilst the resort includes a gym, a
sauna, a steam bath and spa, as well as facial hydrotherapy and
traditional Thai, Japanese and Swedish massage treatments. Guests
can play table tennis, tennis (charges apply), mini-golf and golf
(charges apply) and, for members of the Diamond club house,
snooker. Batik painting and Thai costume and culinary arts classes
are also on offer.
