This hotel was completely renovated and modernised in 2003 and is
located in a sprawling park-like area with palm trees and tropical
plants, with a road running through the complex. On offer are a
total of 187 rooms, of which eight are suites, and in the beach
area, guests will find a 24-hour reception with safes and a
currency exchange facility, a tailor's, a bar, and the wonderful
'Merante' à la carte restaurant with highchairs available for
children. The second area has been constructed in the style of a
traditional Thai village. Here, guests may sate their culinary
desires in the elegant Italian restaurant or the cosy coffee shop.
It is also possible to take advantage of the public Internet
connection, and room, laundry and medical services are additionally
extend the exclusive offerings. Guests arriving by car may use the
hotel car park. The hotel has a porter and concierge.
Rooms
Designed in a Thai style, the superior rooms all come with an en
suite bathroom or a shower/ WC, a hairdryer, air conditioning, and
a furnished balcony or terrace. In addition, international direct
dial telephone, local and satellite TV, Internet connection, a
minibar, and a hire safe are also included in the furnishings. The
deluxe rooms are similarly equipped but also provide tea and coffee
making facilities. Spacious family rooms with an additional
mezzanine floor can be booked on request.
Restaurant & Food
Guests may select their breakfast and dinner from a buffet. Lunch
and dinner may additionally be taken as a set menu or à la carte.
Furthermore, special dietary requirements can be catered for.
Refreshing drinks and snacks are served at the pool bar. The
coolest Italian restaurant on the island, Prego, is the place to
enjoy seafood specialities and pizzas fresh from the wood-fired
oven.
Activities & Sport
Both areas feature separate swimming pools with children's pools, a
Jacuzzi, and a poolside snack bar. A sun terrace with parasols and
sun loungers is also provided for guests wishing to while away
their time in the sun, and loungers, parasols and small towels are
provided free of charge at the beach and the pool. It is also
possible to take advantage of a broad range of massages and therapy
treatments in the spa area. Down on the beach, guests may try a
range of water sports offerings such as diving, windsurfing,
surfing, sailing, canoeing, or catamaran sailing. Beach volleyball
can be played. Sports enthusiasts may also enjoy a work-out in the
gym with aerobics courses, or play a round of squash, and there is
also an occasional entertainment programme to provide further
amusement and variation for guests.
